Our scientists who identified the ominous variant,

|
Deserve a standing ovation for being so transparent
|
|
And swiftly alerting the global community
|
|
Thus staving off a potential catastrophe.
|
|
And what of Omicron? Are symptoms mild or severe?
|
|
Has it, in Grinch style, stolen our Christmas this year?
|
|
It's still early days, but expert advice remains the same

Vaccines are what will end Covid's dangerous game.

Understandably, many people are hesitant about getting the jabs. Here though is a straightforward and entertaining Twitter thread explaining mRNA vaccines. The tweeter is a physician at the University of Saskatchewan and what he writes could help those who are anxious make up their minds.

That all said, it's a big blow to find ourselves, nearly two years after the pandemic took hold, confronting an ominous new monster. One day, though, we'll look back on these times and marvel at how we coped. Books will be written - many probably already are in the making. Perhaps you've even contemplated writing one? Do you have a book in you? Here are 6 ways to go about writing it.

Pick something close to your heart. Think about your hobbies and interests. What have you become expert at over the years due to the time spent accumulating knowledge. Review your expertise and jot down the main points of what you know. This will serve to create your outline and provide a framework for the chapters. You can now start to fill in the text.
