In this time of unprecedented human-induced ecological destruction and with many of the world’s leaders apparently turning a blind eye, it might seem that only a super hero can save us. But that’s to underestimate what one or a few ordinary heroes can do to help restore ecological integrity.
Sean Williams is an animal and environmental activist who has travelled around the world and seen animals in their natural habitat. To minimise the impact of pollution on nature, he is mobilising people and resources to clean up the streets of Fourways and Lonehill. He has even gone ahead and adopted a number of endangered animals. His team built an eco-brick bench in Lonehill Park.
